Abstract : The basic underpinnings for protecting the Business Method Patent is accomplished at some level by the revision of the patent examination guideline and other efforts. Some problems such as an infringement of gCross Border" or gJoint Infringement", however, still remain unsolved. BMP has the different influence from traditional patents in respect that protecting the infra-structure of business could substantially allow a patentee to monopolize the business. Consequently, many companies are required to change a patent strategy to consider both filing and executing a patent's right. Even those companies or departments, which have had no interest in a patent till recently, are now beginning to recognize its value. In respect to the filing, it becomes more important to find out if the invention would be invaluable enough based of their business plans. Furthermore, it is required to execute a right bringing the standardization into view.
