| Abstract : In present IT revolution age, the human hand is already left, information processes it digitally, and generally it is understood with that it objectively travels and can deal with it. However, information is originally a record of the human activity, and by separating human, there is no meaning of information. And, it is necessary to pay attention to the case in which information is utilized, because it is limited and has been chosen by the process for the production, considering purpose and situation of the production for failure information and intentional change. |

| Abstract : Throughout the history 50 years, INFOSTA became the training of the information professional in the industrial world with large force. However, the position of enterprise internal conditions report specialists became questionable by the wave of recent restructuring and outsourcing. Then, it was emphasized that INFOSTA had to raise the information professional of the new type which can become the force of the manager, when the enterprise set the survivor in the IT revolution. And, the method in which the manager layer was made to understand the training of the information professional whom INFOSTA aims was also described. |

| Abstract : There are three different types of approaches to information, which are “biological", “engineering" and “linguistic and/or of human communication". We are requested to integrate such approaches to construct a future domain for INFOSTA, which will put a stress on information content rather than information systems. We have had a great many experiences and sufficient knowledge on UDC, classification schedules, indexing, information management for R&D, the specialty of database searchers, copyright and so on to realize and bring a new era for INFOSTA. |

| Abstract : This paper expresses the editorial policy of the Journal of Information and Technology Association by INFOSTA. One of the aims of this journal is to discuss how the management of the libraries and information centers should be. In this paper, the features of the journal for recent 5 years have been classified by subjects. On each subject, several short comments are added by the author. Finally, the importance to establish “digital documentation" in the near future is discussed. |
